Kate plus 8

In lieu of today's "surprise" announcement that jon and kate are getting divorced, i thought i would chime in

It's kind of sad

and by kind of i mean extremely sad

I actually got into jon and kate plus 8 this past week, hahaha

I was in Kansas City all week and obviously there is nothing to do there except eat bbq food and watch t.v. in the hotel....

So in my hotel there are only a few interesting channels, there was obviously espn, there was some channels that fresh prince of bel air and some movies, and then there was TLC... yes..

I had actually heard of this show only because there are a few people in my life who are pretty into the show.... so i sat down one tuesday night and just watched an episode from season 4, i think it was about some yard sale they were having for cancer awareness or something, that led to another episode, and another, and then another.

Next thing you kno, i'm lovin this family

Those kids are so freakin lovable man...

Jon is an idiot, kate is not much better.....

Makes me kind of sad for these kids.... had there not been so much attention surrounding this family, who knows where the relationship would be right now, the kids don't deserve to be this exposed, especially at such a young age

Seriously, i feel like these parents were exploiting these kids to further their own agendas, whatever that may be......

Saving themselves by saying that their number one priority was their kids... i'm pretty sure TV life messed them up, as it does many celebrity couples

Now that it's summer there's really not that much to watch on TV

everything is basically a rerun of the previous year, sports is at a minimum, and it gets really hot outside...

I hate the summer

I can't stand the beaches because of the sand, and salt water dries out my skin like no other...

I hate humidity

Hm.. this makes me sound like a child

Seriously, if albert pujols is ever found to have taken steroids

i will hate baseball for the rest of my life

I still believe in baseball, there is still hope out there: poo-holes, josh hamilton, evan longoria, ryan braun and others

But seriously, if pujols ever gets in trouble, i'm gonna cry, and burn all my baseball caps... yes.. i said caps

I must comment on the real madrid signing of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka....

It makes me really really sad....

One team has signed one of my all-time FAVORITE players of all time (Kaka) and one of my all-time HATED players of all time (ronaldo)

I don't kno what to think about this team... obviously they are now the favorites to take over alll that is the league of champions.... and if they somehow get mr. ree berry... i will explode with rage.. if mr. ribery is going ANYWHERE i am hoping it is to the blues of chelsea....

Cristiano was bought for a transfer fee of almost 131 millions bucks....newcastle, a soccer TEAM, is trying to be sold for 150 million...priorities...

So lately i've been playing this game, it's actually really stupid but it humors me.

Ever morning i place my glasses somewhere, put my contacts on and go to work,

i come back home do my thang, whatever that may be for the day, and then i put my contacts away

This is where the game begins, me being the awesome memory man that i am, i am unable to find my glasses because i never put my glasses in the same place

I search high and low until i find them and then i am elated when i am able to see again

It feels like a scavenger hunt

With a reward of sight!

I just bought a macbook pro, i am now cool rite?

I thought that once i bought it, my life would be changed, so far, i'm stuck using my old laptop because work requires i have some stuff that only works on windows xp

But starting next week, i will be in the transition phase.. kind of like my life

So i got to thinkin about my favorite burgers of all time

and it goes a little something like this:

1.) Shake Shack's- Double Stack (fried portabella mushrooms stuffed with chedda for the win)

2.) Hamburger Hamlet's- Hickory burger (onion rings in a burger for the double u)

3.) In n Out's- Double Double with grilled onions (freshness for the dub)

4.) Westport Flea Market's- Market burger (good overall burger ftw)

5.) Tie Ray's Hellburger's - Diablo style and Good Stuff Eatery's- Spike's 5 Napkin (local flavor for the win)

special shoutout to Carytown Burger's- Barnyard Brawl (chicken tenders inside a burger with tater tots on the side!!!) This would have made it on the list had i not almost had a heart attack after eating this burger.. granted i had like 5... just kidding just 1

I know that i put down like 7, but really, can u blame me? i've had such good burgers i wanted to share them all with you

Enjoy a good, no, great burger this summer, u will not regret eating any of the burgers i have suggested, and when you have a burger this summer i want you to think of me, and laugh, because u just thought of me... creep...

What the What?

So i've been working now for the past 2 weeks and it's been pretty awesome

I've been traveling like i've never traveled before

The past week i was in Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco

Before this past week, i had never been to the west coast, well, vancouver, but yea, it's been pretty wild

It's given me a lot of time to think about what i want to do with my life

And still i have nothing

I've been praying a lot more, and the more i pray, the more i realize how much there needs to be more of Him and less of me.

I think that i've kind of been avoiding thinkin about my future because the more i think about it, the more i realize that i am growing up... what the crap.

I have so much time on the plane and what not that i've been trying to read a book every trip

Last week i read an autobiography about Josh Hamilton

That guys story is insane!

He went through so much redicklous stuff that i could never imagine what it must have been like for those around him, he KNEW what he was doing to those around him, but he just didn't care

Man, but God redeemed him. What a relief.. haha?

His story was crazy, but then he hit 28 home runs in one round at the home run derby and had a pretty good year last year

This week i re-read The Catcher in the Rye

It's quite possibly my favorite book

It just seemed to real

I don't kno how to explain it

Holden Caulfield lives the way that i live

I think i stopped caring so much about life a long time ago

I play the hand that i am dealt

That's life

God is good

So the lakers and magic are playing for the NBA chamionship

I hate kobe

But i can't hate his game, he is definitely still the best player in the NBA

Definitely better than LeBron, and not just because i hate lebron more.

Kobe legitimately makes those around him play at his level, Pau Gasol was good when he was with the grizzlies, but he's even better now, lamar odom is the only person who i've noticed has declined in the past years, the other role players are still solid players, who will suck when kobe retires or they leave the team

Lebron on the other hand has not made anyone better... Mo williams was good with the bucks... he got slightly better with the cavs.. which better have happened with all the open looks he gets... delonte is trash, z was an allstar before lebron got there, now he's a role player who has declined SIGNIFICANTLY

I'm just saying...

With that being said.. here are my top 5 top players in the nba (obviously this is going to be biased)
