I don't know what pulled me back into this thing, but it just seems that i have been in a mood to type. About whatever.
Unfortunately there seems to be nothing to write about so i am stuck here
The one profound, epiphany you could say, i've had is one that breaks my heart
I think God doesn't want me to like sports
This is half joking, but half serious
I can honestly say that one of the biggest joys in my life is sports, and if you've ever met me, you could probably figure that out in about 20 seconds.
Anyways, this last weekend, was probably one of the most devastating weekends, sports-wise
The Hokies lost to an inferior Georgia Tech team, costing us any shot at a national title
The Redskins lost to an equally inferior Kansas City Chefs, yes i wrote chefs (snickers commercial, great googly moogly), at HOME....
Have no gods before Me... word up, i totally get it
But did You have to do it in such a HURTFUL way?
I now hate Georgia Tech with a passion not felt since i remember being lied to for the first time in my life
That is now 2 states that i will refuse to ever move to (Cali is the other, curse you 400 dollar ticket for taking a right on a red light.....)
The Boston College game doesn't even register in my mind any longer, i realize had we made it to the championship that year.. we would have gotten ROCKED by an LSU team that killed us the first time around....
But this year, we win out, we play either Florida (who almost lost to an alright Arkansas at HOME), Alabama (who we only lost to by 10 despite our offense not being even close to how we're playing now), or Texas... i mean c'mon.. they beat a team that lost their Heisman-Winning qb, by 3.... 3!!!
This one hurts a lot more....
