Have You Met My Friend Joe?

So this is round two of a tribute to my friend Joe Im
He is an interesting fellow
I've known this man for about 22 years
I'm pretty sure i was the one that gave his parents the idea to name him Joseph Tom Im..
He is about 5'7, dark, with racoon eyes from his D-bag days of UVA
This is my free advertisement because as of 4/14/09 he is STILL single
I tried to tell him that i have about a 4 person fanbase, but he still wanted the free ad.. so here it is
This man has dreams of being in Spain so that he could live life as a heathen, kind of like a man that we know now as Jonah
But God has bigger plans for him than Spain
It is to change this world (one state at time, starting with Virginia)
Anyways
He is 23, single and ready to mingle and jingle.. holler at him, his bank account number is 1010128$$$$$$
if u want to check how much money he is
which i'm sure is close to a million by now
If you are someone who wants a chance at being part of Joe's inevitable transformation into a Pastor... by all means, let me know as soon as possible so he can't run away to Tarshish.. sorry i mean Spain... o wait.....
He recently kind of made-up with our other friend Sam Lee, it was a touching moment to see them hug it out like real men...

If you have read this far.. and u are of the female gender... please, contact me, u obviously are interested rite?

Anyways
It just hit me that it's April... i have been a college graduate for more than 10 months now
wow
It's almost time to grow up yea?
I'm sure i still have a little time

I saw an old friend of mine today while we had our flag football game... we got to talkin about what's been up and he asked me what i was gonna do... i immediately responded that i was trying to be a teacher
And that got me thinking... because previously i had shared with someone that maybe the teaching this wasn't for me...
As i've stated many a times before.. my goal is to become a principal.. or try to find another way to impact the children of this world..
I feel like being a teacher is simply a means to an end... that i would only do it so that i could become a principal...
I'm not sure i have a passion to teach.. i'm just not good at that...
i don't know.. pray for me please

Moving along...

As i was driving home from Annandale tonight... i thought about making a top 5 list
so here's my top 5 list for today:
5 songs i could listen to all day for the rest of my life.. in no particular order:
- Apologize- Timbaland w/ OneRepublic
- So Close- Jon McLaughlin
- Forgot About Dre- Eminem, Dr. Dre
- Dear Life- Anthony Hamilton
- Sabotage- Beastie Boys

Man.. i just saw this video from Britains Got Talent about this lady named Susan Boyle
Dang, no joke, that was the closest i've come to tearing up from a reality show...that probably doesn't sound like much.. hahha...
She surprised me more than Paul Potts
Her reponse to the judges' comments is what got me... She REALLY seemed shocked that they thought she was great
Honestly, u really can't her singing a lot, there's too many cheers while she sings.. hahah.. but from the parts i heard.. yea she definitely sounded good
It always gets me when people don't realize how good they really are, i think it makes me sad that they don't have people around them who would encourage someone who obviously has such amazing God-given talent, i mean why else would they be so shocked rite?
Seriously, watching that video, they were showing all these people who were judging her before she even sang a note, including simon cowell... but by the middle of her performance, he had both his hands under his chin just gazing in awe...

There's a lesson here somewhere.. something along the lines of quitting the hate and learning to love and encourage...

NBA and NHL playoffs about to start!!
Let's start with the NBA..
It clearly looks like there are going to be only 4 teams that are serious contenders
They are : Denver, LA, Cleveland, and Orlando
I actually only say Orlando because they are the only team that has consistently given the Cavs problems this year.. they simply cannot stop Dwight
Denver has been playing awesome basketball since Chauncey got traded back to Denver
LA has Kobe.. need i say more?
Cleveland is where it gets interesting... this truly is a team where if LeBron gets injured.. they are done without a doubt....they get destroyed every game and it will not be pretty... and that could perhaps be a concern... every playoff team except for cleveland has a viable number 2 player
Don't give me this crap that mo williams is a star.. PLEASE... Mo scores about 12 points a game if LeBron is out... and that's if he's being guarded by me... i'm just saying...
I'm talkin LEGIT number 2's...
Boston has 3 legit players, Orlando has 3, shoot, even the wizards have 3, LA has kobe and pau, which combined is like 3 and a half.. Denver has 2 and j.r. smith... spurs have duncan and parker.. and if they had manu i would have said they were champions...
But yes.. mo williams is NOT a viable number 2 guy... he just really isn't.. i'm sorry

My prediction for the championship ring?
Why NOT the denver nuggets?
They're my wild card..

As for the NHL, i will not bore you will the details too much
The caps look good, no, dare i say, GREAT
I think they are my favorites to either lose in the first round or get to the championship.. they look really good, i mean u have seasoned veteran sergei federov, who has now played a full season and knows what to do to win games...alex semin, and the GREAT 8! You've also got one of the greatest scoring defensemen in the game in Mike Green, we've got good players everywhere, laich, backstrom!, kozlov, fleischmann... the only problem is.. mr jose theodore and simeon varlemov, theodore has never lost in the first round.. woo hooo.. but that was years ago.. varlemov is still young... i think they're the favs in the east... as for the West... if the sharks can get by the ducks, i think they're the favs to not only win the west, but the whole freakin thing
they look awesome rite now...

ok i'm tired...
Let's go CAPS!!!
