This right here ladies and gentlemen, is my friend Joseph Tom Im
He is turning 23 in about 9 days
He is single, he is available
Joseph enjoys long walks on the beach, he enjoys cooking, he was an econ/spanish major from the University of Idiots, i mean virginia.. same thing
Anyways, yes, if you are between the ages of young to old, this man is for you!
Call 571-315-1513... ok i'm just kidding that's not his number, but if you are intrigued by this man.. let me know
Well yea i just wanted to update just to let y'all know about this man
The biggest news so far from a sports perspective in the past month, other than the steelers winning yet another super bowl, is the fact that one of my favorite baseball players just confessed that he used steroids from 2001-2003
To say i was devastated would truly be an understatement to what i really felt
But you know what, it didn't really really suprise me, i think the majority of baseball players have cheated at one point or another
That's not to say that what A-Rod did was right, just to say that i'm not suprised
I also can't blame the dude, what he did was selfish and downright wrong, but he really was under probably a great deal of stress and didn't know how to deal with it the right way
It's slightly understandable that he felt extreme pressure to live up to probably the biggest sports deal in the U.S., 250 mill for 10 years is no joke
If Albert Pujols comes out and he gets in trouble for Steroids, i am going to quit following baseball
It's actually kind of sad when we realize that sports heroes fall
But at the same time, im sure there are plenty of people who revel in the fact that these celebrities are human too
Michael Phelps smoked pot, A-Rod used steroids, Chris Brown hit Rihanna
These guys are arguably the best at what they do
Alex Rodriguez is considered one of the best baseball players ever (and honestly i still believe that), phelps is only 23/24 and he has like 12 gold medals, Chris Brown is one of the best entertainers rite now
For me, this kind of sucks, i understand that there is a considerable amount of pressure to perform at the highest level, but i hate realizing that these people are human too, i've always had the perception that these athletes are super human, that they are looked up to for a reason
It killed me to realize that Jordan was an a-hole, when Marcus Camby was found with Marijuana, i nearly gave up on him, when Vince Carter came out and said that he played only when he wanted to near the end of his raptors tenure, i lost all respect for him
And don't even get me started on michael vick
Seriously, i'm really glad i have God
Who better to look up to
The more i live, the more i realize how important friendship is
nothing more to say, just know
The best show that i've been recently watching is this show called How I Met Your Mother
Amazon was selling the dvds for 15 bucks each so i bought all three seasons
anyways, this show is amazing
The characters on this show are so funny, and seems very relateable to a certain point
We all know a Barney, Marshall, Ted, Lily, and/or a Robin in our lives
It's hard not to cheer for these guys
This show has so many moments of just pure awesomeness, from barney's baller status, to the fact that Ted Mosby says I love you on his first date, i could go on forever
but yea, this show is hard not to like, it's funny, the ladies are beautiful, and life lessons are learned
So the latest TV shows i've been keeping up with include, How I Met Your Mother, Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Chuck, Eli Stone, and Dead Like Me
I am amazed at how TV has truly just taken over my life
I really am starting to get concerned about what's going to happen when i start working
There will be a certain time that i have to be up everyday, rest will be at a minimum, and i will begin to start to hate people, and i don't want that
Work life scares me, especially because i have never had a job before
I told myself and many of my friends that i would begin to work when i was in 11th grade, when i had a car, 6 years later i still have not fulfilled that promise
The real world scares me, i don't think i'm ready, i still feel very unprepared for what is ahead for me
The one thing that i told myself i would never do is work in a corporate building, i always believed that i was meant to move around, which i guess is why i'm doing all the sitting i can while i still have the time to, so we'll see how this works out
truly one of the greatest shows i've ever watched is Friday night lights
I think of it because tonight, i was on the rooftop of phil's apartment, it was freakin sweet, you could see D.C. and all the surroundings, it was really nice
but anyways, yea, this show has everything you would want in a show, football action, the comedy, but also the drama
It's a perfect blend
My favorite character on the show is Matt Ceracen the QB1, his life is so tragic, but he deals with it, although not always in the best ways, but still, he never really gives up for too long
Coach Taylor is definitely the best character on the show, the father figure in everyway possible
I promise you this show is legit
Don't have many music selections for you
although i suggest the new Fray CD
it's very similar to their first CD but with some different stuff added
i enjoyed it thoroughly
See ya later
