Friday Night

Well here i am on a friday night
I mean what else would i be doing instead?
yea...

well this week was by far the least productive week i've had in a while.. i'm guessing like 22 years ago when all i would do was poop, eat, and sleep
wait..
include browsing the internet and here i am 23 years later.. nice life

well at least i put myself available to work, it's a good first step

the week before, i was able to go to NY/NJ to hang out with my homies sam, raymond, and wes
it started off with a journey to Atlantic City, lo and behold... i had lost my wallet on the way TO New York, so i didn't have any money or ID... tight.. i really don't think God wanted me to gamble...can't blame Him..
but our team collectively won like 400 bucks... and that's because one of us lost 100 bucks..
so it was a pretty successful night!
hahaha

thanks to the riches that God provided our team, we were able to go to Six Flags.. New Jersey style.. basically free of charge
i will tell you this.. i went to Busch Gardens and had a GREAT time
this was just as great!
the lines were long, but the wait was SOO worth it
There's this ride called the "El Toro" it was definitely the best roller coaster i've ever been on.. and the best part was that it was a WOODEN roller coaster.. no flips no fancy stuff.. just plain speed.. it was SICK
Then we rode on the tallest roller coaster probably in the world, it was 450+ feet high
The main thing about that ride, besides the height is that it goes from 0-120 mph in about 3 seconds

The Nitro was next....it's Apollo's Chariot x100.. it was awesome
We rode the Medusa, which was another excellent ride
We then proceeded to wait another hour and a half to ride the toro again.. it's SOO MUCH better at night..
Besides six flags, we had some pretty good food
Diner food is delicious
Grease Trucks... just.. go and try... i was very impressed.. although i thought i was gonna have a heart attack at any minute
Pat's cheesesteaks... consistently good..never dissapointed
Shake Shack.. greatest burgers dude.. seriously.. it was delicious.. well worth the wait as well

New York is where it's at.. haha

when i got bak home to Nova.. i was severely dissapointed by the fact that i had to drive again...

another dissapointment was watching the Redskins play
it was kind of gross
o well
there's 15+ games left to play
i believe!
so i've been thinkin about what i want to do with my life
at this point..i'm leaning towards being a teacher
of life perhaps
a gym teacher would be awesome
or some kind of sports marketing teacher
i've got it figured out if it ever happens
Teach for America?
Peace Corp?
this is kind of exciting actually.. there's so much left to do... being an adult has it's perks
although i really miss the Hokie Nation
i should be at activities rite now, and then going to sleep early cuz i would have a ministry meeting
i will not miss those tho, i can't lie...
but everything else
makes me so nostalgic
but i will recover
football season is officially here
this year will be different
i will not be as consumed.
mainly cuz i almost have no choice
haha
o well
serving in JG is going to be tough
i already kno it will
but i want to see what God has in store this time
so just .. bring it
haha
i guess with all the free time i now have i will try to frequently update this site
holler
